Their Capabilities: Their capabilities extend across the Power Sector, encompassing: The role: This is an opportunity to play a leading role in the development project and cost management services through a variety of established frameworks and opportunities in both the public and private sectors. You will join a multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy team, providing technical advice to a range of clients including predominantly pre-contract QS services. You will work on integrated, multi-disciplinary, environmental and engineering projects, on long term frameworks for major clients. Your work will be interesting, broad and varied and you will use your expertise to provide high level cost advice across a variety of projects. You can expect to get involved in pre-contract estimating, investment appraisals, option studies, value engineering and tender documentation. You will be self motivated with good communication skills and experience in building and infrastructure projects, in particular, pre-contract estimating and optioneering for Development Masterplans, Investment Appraisals, Option Studies, PPP/PFI projects and Public Sector

First Degree BSc/BSc Hons Quantity Surveying Second Degree Professionally qualified MRICS
Focus: Project Management; Project Direction; Sector/Business Development Experience: Provision of pre-contract QS services and risk management on new build, refurbishment, regeneration and infrastructure projects. Experience in Whole Life Costs and PPP/PFI procurement methods. Experience of working in multi-company, multi-disciplinary development teams. Demonstrable technical competence. Competent in the use of Management Information Systems to analyse and measure performance and then derive action plans.
