CIVIL QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Salary and Location: £32,000 - £40,000 + Benefits + Car/Allowance. (Dependent on experience and competence) West Midlands
Role Description: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Civil Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the pricing and tendering of civil and rail projects. The civil projects will include station refurbishments, platform works and structures. The role includes the preparation of tender documentation, costings, estimates and report writing throughout the projects. The Civil Quantity Surveyor will be required to liaise with all areas of the project from start to completion. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress to a senior level in a growing organisation.
Required Experience: A degree in Civil Engineering is required. A good background as a Quantity Surveyor in Civil projects is required and rail experience will be advantageous. Client and internal liaison is a key part to this role, so you need to be able to communicate at all levels and be commercially astute. Benefits Package: £32,000 - £40,000 plus car/car allowance. This role offers a route to Senior Management for the right candidate, due to the structure, goals and culture of the organisation. Training programs are in place for candidates showing a willingness to develop.
