What is the Role?
A position for a CAD technician to work within the transport development team of a UK leading infrastructure consultancy has arisen.
You will play an active role in the production of preliminary and detailed highway and junction design layouts, as well as producing the designs for car parks, bus stations and controlled Parking zones.
Reporting directly to the CAD manager with all technical matters and also have to meet with the associate director of transport to discuss developments of your projects.
Based in the midlands office, you may however be required to make occasional short visits to other branches, client offices and to site.

What Skills do I need?
With previous AutoCAD experience within the infrastructure industry the ideal candidate will be qualified to HND standard in relevant civil discipline. An understanding of AutoTRACK is desired however willingness to be trained in this package is essential. Knowledge of road design (vertical and horizontal) is desirable and Microsoft office competence is a must.
