Senior Project Manager
Our client is searching for a Project Manager who will be totally accountable for the profitability and quality performance of study and project assignments, taking the projects from initiation to hand-over to the client.
Our client is one of the world's fastest-growing design, engineering and management consultancies. They specialise in property, environmental projects and transport however recently they have acquired a new arm of the business who deal with nuclear and chemical, pharmaceutical, and energy projects.
Position
The position will involve a variety of responsibilities such as:
-Applying industry recognised Best Practice to assigned projects.
-Control of programme, change, cost, risk, safety, quality
-Maximise profitability and minimise cost exposure without introducing significant commercial risk – financial reports.
-Provide support to the Sales & Proposals activities of the company as required.
-Develop project definitions to allow clients to realise their underlying business objectives
Projects will range in value from £500k - £8m and they will include both small and large civils projects.
Requirements
Ideally you will have a strong civls background working for a recognized civil engineering contractor in a similar role.
Ideally you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in civil engineering. You will be required to hold a CSCS card and have sufficient Health and Safety/Risk Assessment qualifications.
