A leading civils contractor is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen there commercial division for projects in the West Midlands area. You will be involved with contracts between £1million and £10million in value on roads, highways and other small civil scheme's.
Reporting directly to the managing qs this role will involve site measures, valuations, sub-contractor payments, variation accounts, contractual notice and correspondence, checking and assisting in the production of tender documentation, preparation of pre-qualifications and monthly reports and forecasts.
Candidates must have experience at a similar level working for a main civil contractor. A Quantity Surveying qualification will be essential. The successful applicant will be joining a respected and forward thinking contractor.
