You will work on new developments and redevelopments of sites usually involve augmentation and improvements to the surrounding highway network. This position will initially be concerned with the Longbridge redevelopment project.
Responsibilities will include:
highway design, primary road network design, car park, other access roads and associated infrastructure development
coordination of different design inputs to ensure compatibility of highway requirements, drainage requirements and infrastructure development needs
liaison with other engineers regarding their requirements
supervision of assistant engineer and technicians
a detailed knowledge of highways (DMRB) and infrastructure design is essential.
knowledge of project procurement methods, highway adoption procedures, environmental issues and planning legislation would be advantageous.
good IT skills with working knowledge of MX (or 3D design)
