What is the Role?
This role is to join a well-established consultancy as a Senior Highways Design Engineer based in their Solihull branch.
They are expanding their team due to the work that they are accumulating from Midlands, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The successful candidate shall be expected to travel to complete site visits so flexibility is needed for the role. You shall be leading a team of around 5 designers to design and build major Highways schemes so precision and meeting deadlines are also a must.

Who are the likely candidates?
· Proficient in Section 278 and Section 38 of the British Standards
· Must have MX design experience.
· It will be beneficial if you are chartered or near chartership.
· You must be able to analyse and provide solutions.
· Junction Design experience
· Experience with Major Highways schemes
· Experience of the design of highways or infrastructure schemes.
· You will have knowledge of the Highways Agency’s DMRB and SHW.
· Design & Build, DBFO or ECI conditions.
