Sales Engineer – Warwick – to £25k
Our client has specialised in the design and manufacture of bespoke innovative solutions utilised in a diverse range of commercial building applications for the last 25 years, and as a result of increased levels of interest in Global Warming, their product range (65% overseas export) is constantly increasing in demand.
As a result of this ongoing success and as part of their planned programme of strategic growth, an exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic, self motivated and dynamic Sales Engineer to compliment their existing team.
With projects ranging from single system installations through to vast commercial buildings, including airports, shopping malls and museums, diversification is available every step of the way, and so if you are able to demonstrate a background in successful sales in either a construction or other relevant mechanical engineering field, and are looking for a challenging position for your next career move, this position could be for you.
The Sales Engineer will be tasked with maintaining and developing new profitable business from both existing and potential customers, whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and providing technical support to both internal and external customers accordingly. Additionally, you will assist the Programme Management team in a range of duties, from the preparation of quotations based on technical construction drawings through to planning and ordering of materials in order to meet project demands. Additionally, the successful candidate will be tasked with preparing associated order details and scheduling workloads on the shop floor in order to ensure project delivery within customer specification and timescale constraints, and providing technical support to both customers and suppliers whenever required.
You will demonstrate strong IT skills (particularly in Excel), the ability to read technical drawings and be an effective communicator with a genuine desire to progress your career within a technically challenging environment.
