A major national Building Services contractor is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to strengthen their commercial team. The ideal candidate would have at least 2-3 years relevant experience working for an M+E contractor (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) in a similar role.
Typical duties required for this role include compiling sub-contractor and supplier information for tender documents, assisting in reviewing tender documentation and attending tender meetings / site surveys, preparing relevant reports and estimates for tender returns, compiling sub-contractor and supplier information for tender documents and assisting in carrying out post tender reviews.
The ideal candidate will be personable, possess good communication skills and be able to fit into an already existing team structure. A good level of IT knowledge would be expected from the successful candidate, as well as good analytical and numerical skills and the ability to work on their own initiative when required.
