An automotive OEM requires a Senior CAD Designer Engineer
Position Description:
Powertrain CAD Design and Package engineer within Powertrain APC.
Skills Required:
Senior CAD Design engineer - Powertrain New model programmes. Responsible for concept and detailed design of Powertrain systems components and systems. CAD design skills on Catia V5, Catia V4. Data management skills on TCE
Skills Preferred:
Good communication and organisational skills. Strong automotive engineering background
Experience Required:
Experience in the automotive sector, ideally on thermo-fluids systems with Powertrain engineering - Exhaust, intake, cooling & fuels. Experience of designing components in Catia V5, experience of packaging using visplus / digibuck.
Experience Preferred:
Good vehicle and powertrain Packaging experience. Good design and detailed modelling experience. Good computer literacy skills. Good communication skills. Self motivated. Good engineering background - particularly powertrain.
Education Required:
Engineering / Technical background - ideally to degree level.
