An automotive OEM requires a Project Manager Engineer
Position Description:
Project manage the delivery of ETO components or sub systems. Liaison with programme team, suppliers, manufacturing and purchasing, etc. Manage component validation programme including order and supply of components and arrangement of rig and vehicle test. Analyse internal test standards and create project delivery plans.
Skills Required:
Project management, ability to use appropriate quality tools and techniques e.g. FMEA, DFA, etc. PC skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint and database applications
Skills Preferred:
This is a broad role having responsibility for medium volume special ETO (SVO /VP) derivatives from concept to launch
Experience Required:
Experience of relevant components and systems and materials and production processes used in the manufacture of the components. Experience of Product Change systems. Knowledge of FPDS project management process.
Experience Preferred:
Experience of plastic mouldings particularly bumper systems and exterior parts. Experience with paint, chrome & associated DVP would be advantageous
Education Required:
Ideally educated to Degree level. Qualifications: HNC/HND.
