An automotive OEM requires a Project Engineer
Position Description:
"Contribution to the PVT Balanced Scorecard objectives: CPU, R/1000, TGW, QSF, FCPA etc Resolution of customer concerns as prioritised by the Balanced Single Quality Agenda, identifying and implementing robust containment, root cause and permanent corrective action to issues, Quality data analysis using AWS, GQRS, JD Powers, WPAP etc, Supporting the production team with the timely engineering resolution of build issues. Project management of engineering changes including WERS, AIMS, line trials, PACN etc, Reporting out to management at FCPA, VQR, PQR, CQR and PIC room. " "
Skills Required:
"Six sigma tools for problem resolution - Degree or equivalent in a technical subject - Experience of Microsoft excel/ minitab & powerpoint required for reporting out - High level of numeracy required for data analysis - Proven record of successful project management: initial planning, root cause analysis, implementation, timing plan vs. delivery, cost analysis - Working knowledge of Chassis systems"
Skills Preferred:
"Good written and presentation skills - Ability to efficiently work in a manufacturing environment - Experience of WERS, BSAQ, AIMS, AWS systems"
Experience Required:
"Extensive within a technical department - Managed projects from initial definition to delivery - Financial awareness”
Experience Preferred:
"Chassis systems - Manufacturing environment"
Education Required:
Degree or equivalent in a technical subject
Education Preferred:
Black belt certification
