An automotive OEM requires a Development Engineer
Position Description:
NVH Engineer to run component, engine and vehicle NVH tests
Skills Required:
Background in NVH measurement, practice and analysis essential, using industry standard instrumentation and tools (Bruel & Kjaer, DJ Birchall, LMS etc.) to acquire data direct to LMS front end (SCADAS), PROSIG and/or TEAC DAT recorder. Carry out subsequent analysis of data using LMS, draw conclusions and report work, attend progress meetings. Would be required to work in a team environment.
Skills Preferred:
Candidate should have a proven ability to make appropriate measurements, assess data, draw considered conclusions, and advise subsequent actions. Field experience would be an advantage.
Experience Required:
NVH measurement and analysis, preferably in powertrain environment
Experience Preferred:
Experience of engine analysis and rotating components
Education Required:
Undergraduate degree / Diploma, in Engineering/Automotive/Acoustics.
