An automotive OEM requires a CAE Analyst
Position Description:
"The role is to support the SST department within Chassis Engineering. The key responsibilities are; CAD: Packaging and layouts of ARC & Suspension levelling components. CAE: Kinematic analysis and FE analysis on critical parts. Development of detailed designs and support of the development of Design Verification Plans. Coordination with design engineers to communication design intent and ensure that systems are engineered robustly. "
Skills Required:
"The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills; CATIA V5, solids modelling & Finite Element Analysis Detailed experience within a chassis design field such as suspension, frames and steering. Management of engineering sign off test and validation plans a proven approach to achieving quality objectives through the application of design quality tools FMEA etc”
Skills Preferred:
Microsoft office - word, excel, powerpoint
Experience Required:
Must have a working knowledge of client engineering disciplines, with a demonstrable in depth knowledge of the relevant chassis systems and components.
Experience Preferred:
Extensive experience in a related engineering discipline.
Education Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience and have a working knowledge of client engineering disciplines
