Position Description:
FE Analyst
Skills Required:
Required to provide Fluid Flow & Heat Transfer analysis of a variety of powertrain components and systems using proprietary software tools. Required to be fully competent in using ICEM CFD, Fluent / STAR CD for analysis of engine/powertrain components and systems. Fundamental knowledge of powertrain systems. Consideration will also be given to candidates with experience of Amesim for Network analysis.
Skills Preferred:
"Knowledge of client Business systems and GPDS an advantage. Matlab / C / Fortran programming skills / STAR & Fluent user coding"
Experience Required:
Proven track record in fluids analysis in Powertrain systems. "
Experience Preferred:
"Knowledge of automotive components and systems, ideally Powertrain. Experienced in CAD for solid modelling, e.g. Ideas / Catia V5."
Education Required:
"Minimum HND in Mech Eng. BSc/MSc Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline"
Education Preferred:
Candidates from other industries may be considered depending on knowledge and experience.
