Senior Systems Engineer – Vehicle braking control systems, Matlab, Simulink – Worcestershire – 36k
My client is looking for a senior systems engineer with knowledge of model-based control design techniques and vehicle dynamics, i.e. road input, driver input and how vehicle systems interact. Experience using Matlab and Simulink would be beneficial. The role will involve the design of electronically controlled brake systems.
Other key responsibilities for the senior systems engineer will include:
-Developing system concepts for vehicle braking systems -Using knowledge of model-based control systems -Modelling component operation and system performance behaviour -Working and supporting other engineers in a multi-disciplinary team
The successful senior systems engineer will ideally have experience using Matlab and Simulink for systems analysis and have a good understanding of mathematical modelling design techniques and vehicle dynamics. Knowledge of real-time embedded systems is desirable but not essential and experience creating model-based design controllers is highly advantageous. A background in the aerospace, automotive or rail industry would be helpful. As a professional company we gladly welcome applications from persons of any age and background and do not intend to discriminate with advert text and terminology.
