Our client's Cardiff office requires a Senior Engineer to work on civil / marine engineering and development projects involving a range of disciplines and resources and undertake the management of technical and financial aspects of projects.
You will also lead sections of the design team on larger projects and manage smaller projects with limited supervision
You will possess a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering and will have achieved (or be approaching) Chartered Status within the Institution of Civil Engineers.
With experience in the design and assessment of a variety of civil engineering structures using the appropriate design / assessment Codes of Practice / British Standards, you will be expected to be able to use your direct experience of the preparation of designs and procurement documentation.
In addition to general civil engineering, experience encompassing project work in one or more of the following sectors would be advantageous:
• Ports and Harbours
• River Engineering
• Coastal Engineering
• Maritime Structures
• Regeneration.
You should have good communication skills and be capable of taking a supervisory role where required.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £32 - 36,000 p.a., together with a flexible benefits package.
