A Senior Engineer is required by our client in Cardiff to take technical delivery of design solutions to clients to the direction of the Project Manager.
You will be expected to act as Design Manager on small to medium sized projects, will co-ordinate project work with multi disciplinary teams, will mentor less experienced team members, will interface at the appropriate level within the client project delivery team, undertake checking and approval of design deliverables prepared by others and ensure compliance with relevant company procedures.
You will also work on water projects such as water / sewerage treatment and infrastructure projects, e.g. pipes.
With a relevant first degree or equivalent and membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. MICE), you will also have experience in the technical delivery of multidisciplinary projects in the water and / or energy sectors within a design and build environment.
You will ideally have experience of power station or renewable energy and / or civil design experience with lots of reinforced concrete.
You will be a team player who is a self starter with good problem solving skills, a 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills.
Our client will offer an attractive salary, probably in the range of £34 - 40,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
