Do you have the ability to add structural engineering design flair and expertise within a multi-disciplinary design environment and are you able to lead talented graduates and technicians?

Our client's Building Structures team in North Wales is currently involved in a number of high profile projects, including new sustainable buildings, hospital buildings and large civil / structural regeneration projects in addition to several school and college projects within the education and local authority sectors and require a Structural Engineer to assist with this workload.

You will be responsible for the management of small to medium sized projects (up to £15M), or sectors of larger projects, will assist in the execution of projects with defined design and cost parameters and will undertake independent studies and analysis and preparing recommendations and conclusions for formal review by project managers.

You will also be expected to provide technological input and supervise technical input by others within the Structural discipline, effectively manage your own time, assist in the preparation of offers as directed and build client relationships, helping to identify business objectives.

Degree qualified or equivalent in Structural or Civil Engineering, you will preferably have achieved Chartered Membership of IStructE or ICE and will have significant experience in Building Structures Design and Engineering.

Your experience will also include working successfully with Architects within the UK market and experience in the design of sustainable buildings.

You will possess excellent communication skills and will have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

A competitive salary will be offered, probably in the range of £30 - 40,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
