Engineering CAD Technician Job in Newport.
Our client is one of the largest and well known manufacturers of steel reinforcement solutions in the United Kingdom and is looking for a Engineering CAD Technician to further enhance the companies engineering resources.
The main purpose of this role will be to deliver the technical and drawing output of the companies engineering capability. In order to do this your main duties will include the rescheduling and detailing of working drawings, working with consulting engineers and contractors as well as closely working with the Senior CAD Technician.
The successful candidate will be a competent CAD user with some experience working with reinforced concrete. Relevant engineering qualifications are an advantage but are not essential as encouragement will be given to further your technical studies on a case by case basis.
