We are looking for a Project Planning Engineer to work for a rail construction company based in Newport. The key tasks of this role include: ·Produce & monitor KPIs, internal and the Clients ·Provide up to date information to Project Team on the status of works utilizing Project Management software. ·Provide planning and resource management support to the Project Team ·Produce cost and resource loaded programmes, identifying critical paths, including Design & Construction Programmes ·Identify possession works and liaison with the Possession Planner ·Produce progress reports ·Update, maintain and monitor Project Management Tools. ·Verification of progress and maintenance of the Master Programme, including regular updates ·Produce, monitor and maintain Cash flow information as required ·Produce, monitor and maintain forecasts resource requirements ·Contribute to the reporting cycle to the Client Candidates for this role should meet the following criteria: ·Good organisational skill ·Logical minded ·Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, particularly to be proficient in the use of Excel ·Attention to detail ·Clean Driving Licence ·Ability to work under own initiative ·Experience working with Networkrail procedures and standards ·Good communicator at all levels ·Ablity to work within a team. ·Proficient in the use of Primavera Version 5 ·Understand Planning procedures |
