Enforcement Planner is required to join a local authority in North Wales on a permanent basis. The right applicant will be dealing with enforcement on minerals and waste issues. Day to day activities will consist of you handling complaints reported by members of the public, you will also be managing various planning applications that arise from the investigations of these complaints such as hedgerow regulations and listed building issues. You will also be liaising with the councils planning solicitors to ensure that appropriate action at all times is taken. You will be preparing appeal cases, presenting evidence at planning inquiries, hearings, and court cases as and when required. Due to the variety of people who may report complaints it is essential that applicants who apply for this role posses excellent communication both orally and in writing in Welsh and English. Must have a degree in Planning and hold a full UK drivers license. |
