Client

My client is an international advisory and design consultancy with over 5,000 people working across the UK, Europe and the Middle East they specialize in the infrastructure of property and environmental solutions, they offer the clients the benefit of global expertise.

The Role

The principal function of this position is to:
· Support the Market Sector Leader in developing the marine aggregates, international ports and harbours, renewable energy businesses. A key objective is to focus on the development of new business and clients.
· Project manage a range of large-scale projects and proposals.
· Work across interdisciplinary teams, providing technical input and project management skills required.


Key Responsibilities
The priorities of this role includes:

- Managing large-scale projects in existing and new business sectors.
- Support business development in these areas through direct marketing and preparation of proposals.
- Working towards developing new market sectors in which to lead.
- Working across teams- stimulating cross team selling and knowledge sharing.
- Taking a major role in developing staff and team skills and building centres of excellence in core areas.
- Excellent knowledge of the marine aggregates industry.
- Excellent knowledge of international best practice in ESHIA.
- Ability to develop and cultivate client relationships.
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry.
- Skilled Project Manager, with a well developed business acumen.
- Skilled consultancy coach.
- MSc in EIA, Coastal Management, Environmental Consultancy or similar.
- BSc in core subject such as; geology, marine biology, applied chemistry and oceanography.
