My client is looking for an enthusiastic Marine Engineer to join their rapidly expanding organization working in the field of offshore Renewable Energy their work encompasses all disciplines of ecology, nature , conservation and biodiversity.

Responsibilities:
Dynamic analysis of the moorings systems using in-house software Analysis to support the design of certain structural elements Dynamic analysis in support of the design of the dynamic power cables. Fatigue, wear and corrosion calculations for mooring lines and umbilical s. Ballasting, trim, intact and damaged flotation & stability calculations. Definition of towing requirements, vessel specs, stability, limiting conditions, safety & reporting for marine warranty surveyors and analysis to support these. Dynamic analysis, load & stability calculations for vessel intervention with moorings. Production of design verification reports and liaison with third party verification body. Involvement in FMECA processes for development design and risk based inspection. Support of research and development as appropriate Analysis to support infrastructure installation and towing operations. Occasional support of offshore operations, including attendance offshore
Requirements:
Must be educated to degree level in Naval Architecture, Offshore/Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related subject. Experience in Marine Sedimentology, Coastal Modelling and Fisheries Skills
Experience in design analysis using dynamic analysis software and the preparation of design reports highly desirable. Must have experience of stability and towing calculations and the application of relevant codes and industry best practice. Must be familiar with the international guidance codes and standards relating to the design of moorings and have a working knowledge of standard marine mooring systems. Must be self motivated, manage work effectively and be able to work with a degree of autonomy. Must have the flexibility to apply knowledge and experience and to develop and embrace innovation. Be prepared to travel both within the UK and overseas. Must demonstrate a capability to undertake the tasks detailed in the above job description.

Due to the nature of this role the right candidate will be rewarded with a basic
£35,000 - £75,000 DOE Company Car Pension Holidays
