Location - Newport
One of our largest South Wales clients is in urgent need of two Manufacturing Engineers to join their team based at their Newport Semi-Conductor Branch. The successful Manufacturing Engineers will be responsible for the manufacture of products built in Newport. They will also be responsible for Optimising the Manufacturing Risk Assessments, Build and Test: Performance Data Reviews & Participating in system design reviews.
This position is crucial to the productivity and efficiency of the manufacturing department. The Manufacturing Engineers will be professionally organised individuals with good analytical, communication skills and a solid understanding of continuous improvement techniques.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to at least HND level, have High Tech industry Experience and Team Leading Experience.

On a daily basis you're Duties and Responsibilities will include;
¢ Working closely with the Product Group and Manufacturing to Optimise Fabrication, Fitting and Testing.
¢ The Co-ordination of detailed Project activities between Design, Drawing Office, Materials Control, Purchasing & Customer Support Departments.
¢ Ensure the high levels of BOM accuracy by applying appropriate manufacturing techniques.
¢ To Module test efficiency improvements and reduction of ‘In Bay’ test times.
The Manufacturing Engineers salary will be between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and industry knowledge. There is also overtime available, Life Assurance and a Contributory Pension Scheme.
