We are seeking a CNC Setter/Operator to working within the manufacturing dept of the seating department
Successful candidates key responsibilities will be to:
-Set tool and jigs/fixtures (check M/C set up).
- Modify programs as required (offsets and parameters).
- Program components at machine as required.
- Download programs from waster file server.
- Load raw material on machines and run programme.
- Able to use micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment to check work to drawing dimensions.
- Maintain Machine Centre, to daily/weekly maintenance plan.
You must also possess a good understanding of general machining practises and be competent at reading and understanding engineering drawings and ideally apprentice served. Knowledge of CNC milling with Heidenhein and/or Mazatrol is also preferred however not essential. Rate includes shift enhancement.
Mornings 6.00am - 2.00pm Mon - Fri
Afternoons 2.00pm - 10.00pm Mon - Fri
Nights 10.00pm - 6.00am sun - Thurs
Salary is £19,420 for 40hrs plus a shift premium of 23.33% ( 15% Mornings, 25% Afternoons & 30% Nights ) which gives an annual basic salary of £23,951pa
Overtime x 1.3 Mon - Fri, x 1.5 sat & x 2 sun
