Due to the ongoing success of this international consultancy, they are looking for a Senior/ Principal Transport Planner in their brand new Cardiff office. This would be an ideal position for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress quickly.
As a Senior/ Principal Transport Planner, your role will consist of;
Being responsible for project co-ordination.
Liaising with clients on private and public sector transportation projects.
Managing transport projects/briefs.
Leading a team of graduates, technicians and assistant engineers.
Preparing transport assessments and managing technical work.
Client and external project team liaison – attending meetings.
To be successful as a Senior/ Principal Transport Planner, you will have;
Experience in undertaking transport assessments and in urban regeneration work.
Knowledge of the development planning process is essential.
Experience and knowledge of standard transport models e.g. PICADY, ARCADY, OSCADY,TRANSYT, LINSIG.
