What is the Role?
Our clients have a close working relationships with local authority planning, traffic and highway officers to provide projects that range from tens of thousands of pounds to hundreds of millions An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to become an integral member of this dedicated team of professionals.
The main duties will be to design and supervise drawing production for highways and drainage schemes. You will be responsible for drawing office management, overseeing technicians and junior technicians, and dealing with technical officers in highway and drainage authorities and handling site queries.

Who are the likely candidates?
The successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience in drainage and highways design, are expert in CAD, have good knowledge of PDS, Micro Drainage (WinDes) and have the ability to work as part of a team.
Ideally, you will be educated to a HNC/HND level and will have a broad-base Highway & Drainage Engineering background with a strong familiarity with adoption procedures.
What Skills do I need?
You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conversant with current design standards, practices and agreements.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work within both the design team and other stakeholders. You will have personal time management skills in order to perform to the best of your abilities.
