What is the Role?
Our client provides safe, efficient and cost-effective transport systems that deliver real benefits to the community. They are looking to appoint a Senior Manager to become an integral member of a rapidly growing team.
The main duties include, developing and implementing business strategy, management of stakeholders on a daily basis, the recruitment, retention and staff development, liasing with Key Account Managers and other stakeholders, developing relationships with a range of clients to secure and deliver projects, reviewing bids and proposals as well as project performance.

Our client is looking for an individual with proven experience of developing new sales, bidding and work winning. Experience of ECI and NEC forms of contract are essential.
The candidate will be of Chartered status, ideally MICE and or MIHT, whilst being regarded as technical expert within Highways Engineering.
The candidate will have experience of local and Welsh Assembly Government working arrangements.

Our client stresses that the candidate must possess strong team leadership and motivational skills, as well as being an excellent communicator.
The ability to work with and alongside a Highways Technical Director in order to ensure technical quality is maintained
