Our client is currently experiencing massive growth in their environmental sectors and is currently looking for a Graduate Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to help with the increased workload within its Rivers and Coastal defence in Wales. The role will require the successful candidate to carrying out a wide range of projects for clients in the water sector, including the design of flood defence schemes and port and canal infrastructure. The role will involve predominantly geotechnical tasks working on desk and feasibility studies, ground investigation planning and supervision, technical reporting, computer analysis and engineering design.
Applicants should have a sound technical background and will ideally have a civil engineering degree; a Masters in a relevant subject would be desirable. You should have appropriate experience and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and operate in a competitive and commercial environment.
