Duties and responsibilities will include -
Supporting the Environmental Manager in the development, management, monitoring and review of the Environmental Management System to ensure compliance.
Ensure that the organisation is advised and appraised on the implications of Statutory
Requirements, Environmental Control, relevant Codes of Practice and Guidance Notes as
issued via HM Government, Welsh Assembly Government, Health and Safety Executive,
and Environmental Agency.
The development and implementation of both the Environmental Management System
and Energy Management Strategy and all associated initiatives.
Ensures compliance with the Climate Change Levy, EU Emissions Trading Scheme, Energy
performance of Building Directive and any other associated legislative and mandatory
requirements.
Develops a comprehensive register of all environmental aspects and impacts, in
accordance with ISO 14001 guidelines
