We are working in partnership with a leading provider of Project Services in the South East to secure them a new Chartered Surveyor for their London Region.
Formed in 1992 in Uckfield with the aim of becoming a major power in London and South East RSL market the firm has grown to provide the gold standard of construction advisory services for their clients and go well beyond the traditional Employer''s Agent role to become proactive partners in all aspects of the development process. This level of service is what has driven the company to its current status.
This success has allowed them access to some very interesting schemes including; a luxury development of 88 units in Hampshire for a bespoke developer with a contract worth £13M; and a Kent based scheme where they are working for the RSL and Developer on a scheme of over 100 units. This level of development shows the trust of their clients in the abilities of the project managers.
The Role
There exists and opportunity for Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor with traditional skills to take their first steps into project management of New Build projects. You will have mastered the core skills of survey and specification writing and be familiar with the contract administrator’s duties but be looking for a new and demanding challenge.
The Package
The firm is based around flexibility; they offer a great service to clients in their service but extend this to their employees and actively promote this within the business with a good deal of give and take around your normal hours.
The company offer a really excellent salary and package, typically paying 10% - 15% more on a basic salary than comparable practices as well as a very good car allowance, holidays are also generous with a starting level of 25 days plus the Christmas break rising to 30 with service. After a year the firm will make a 5% pension contribution and provide family healthcare. This makes for a very loyal team and low staff turnover testament to the family like atmosphere in the offices.
