A Northern Operations Manager is required to join an expanding team that will be specializing in the renewable sector within the North West.
Due to increased workload, the Manager will be responsible for the entire Northern operations business. The Candidate will develop aspects of renewable business in accordance with the business plan for Northern England, assisting in the identification of market sectors that the business can professionally and profitably enter into.
The Operations Manager will be expected to target the on-shore wind farm market and establish, maintain key client relationships.
Key duties the role will involve:
-Establish construction teams to manage works effectively
-Identify commercial opportunities to gain company advantage
-Produce profitable contract delivery
-Plan, forecast and report contract performance
-Manage key sub-contractors to deliver project demands.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate a track record of effective contract management across a broad spectrum of contracts previously, and be able deliver innovative procedures to aid effective quality control of key projects and teams.
The Client is a service provider with experience working in the utilities, communications, renewable and rail markets across the UK. They have a proven track record for delivering diverse projects and services to a broad base of Clients.

Operations Managers must have experience within a similar role for a UK contractor.
Operations Candidates with experience in the energy, renewable and construction market, with a working knowledge of risk appreciation are elements to be expected.
Candidates must have the ability to achieve profit and revenue targets, be able to work successfully in a team, take hands on approach to work and have experience of design and construction contracts.
A clean drivers license and eligibility to work in the UK is essential to the role.
