Our client one of Scotlands most prestigious and well respected civil engineering contractors have a requirement for a Foreman. The company work on projects up to 6 million in value and have a current annual turnover of approx 50 million. Their workload includes groundwork, road, public realm, rail, water, bridge, concrete structure and petrochemical projects across the Central belt.
Duties of the post include:
Management of operational activities
Ensuring all plant and equipment is suitable for purpose
Organise subcontractors for works
Ensuring all necessary resources are available to deliver the required performance
Monitor performance standards Ensuring all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures are maintained
Effectively liaising and manage operational interfaces
Checking labour and plant returns
Organising the logistics of the site
The position is open to candidates currently at Foreman who have excellent experience gained on a variety of civil engineering projects. A basic 42 hour working week is expected with salary dependent on experience. Benefits include company car / car allowance, contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual holiday 8 statutory, private health care, flexible benefits scheme (after 3 months service).
