Our client is looking for a Senior/Principal Water Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers undertaking the detailed design of a series of waste water treatment schemes which are being undertaken under a framework design agreement. This is an attractive position based in a fantastic location in Exeter.
The successful Candidate will be experienced on the civil engineering design of a full range of wastewater treatment schemes including the modification and extension of existing treatment facilities. Also, experience must include an understanding of the mechanical and electrical aspects of waste water schemes to ensure that a co-ordinated approach is achieved in the design process.
The successful Candidate must be able to undertake project management, evaluation and design of water related projects, working on a long term framework with major water utilities. Client management and delivery of quality service to time, programme, budget and safety is essential.
Main duties, including specific projects to be worked on:

" Maintain a good understanding of all relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety Legislation and current relevant design methods.
