An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Water Engineer with a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company. This well established consultancy specialises in infrastructure development, energy, water, telecommunications and environmental markets.
As a Civil Water Engineer, your role will consist of;
oUndertaking civil design of networks or waste water and drainage to specified standards and practices.
oDirecting the work of CAD draughtsmen to produce detailed design drawings.
oProviding sufficient data for others to undertake structural design of steel and reinforced concrete structures.
oLiaising with other engineers in other disciplines, making sure fully integrated design solutions.
oEnsuring that all design work is carried out within the necessary Health and Safety regulations.
oMonitoring and reporting on the progress of civil design work.
oContributing to managing the relationship with a key client.
To be successful as a Civil Water Engineer, you will have;
oExperience within the water industry.
oA degree in Civil Engineering.
oWorking towards a professional qualification i.e. MICE or MCIWEM, would be an advantage.
oPrevious experience working on detailed design on networks, water supply or waste water treatment projects.
