An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Water Engineer with a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company. This well established consultancy specialises in infrastructure development, energy, water, telecommunications and environmental markets.
As a Civil Water Engineer, your role will consist of;
Undertaking civil design of networks or waste water and drainage to specified standards and pipework to specified standards.
Directing the work of CAD draughtsmen to produce detailed design drawings in a efficient manner.
Providing sufficient data for others to undertake structural design of steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Liaising with other engineers in other disciplines, making sure fully integrated design solutions.
Ensuring that all design work is carried out within the necessary Health and Safety regulations.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of civil design work.
Contributing to managing relationships with key clients.
To be successful as a Civil Water Engineer, you will have;
Some experience within the water industry.
A degree in Civil Engineering.
Working towards a professional qualification i.e. MICE or MCIWEM, would be an advantage.
Previous experience working on detailed design on networks, water supply or waste water treatment projects.
