Opportunities have arisen in Bristol for Civil Engineers with relevant post graduate experience. Ideally the candidates will have a good degree and an interest in site development planning and engineering. There is a particular need for drainage experience which should include some of the following:
use of Microdrainage;
pumping station planning and design;
sewer requisition;
building drainage;
stormwater management; and
negotiation of approvals with drainage and water authorities.
Role:
Working with internal and external project managers.
Design and design management including feasibility studies, technical reports and drawings.
Seeking design approvals from external agencies.
Requirements:
BEng/ BSc/ MEng/MSc in Civil Engineering.
Preferably chartered or nearing chartership with an appropriate institution.
First rate communication skills, both written and verbal.
Innovative and creative thinking is essential.
An aptitude for problem solving is necessary.
Ability to work alone or with a team as required.
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
A high level of commercial awareness is a particular benefit.
