Our client, a respected international consultancy, has a requirement for a Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Bristol.
The team is responsible for producing structural detail drawings using AutoCAD and you can expect to work as part of a team and will have an opportunity to develop your design / detailing skills.
Main duties and responsibilities will be:
• Preparation of floor layout and general arrangement drawings.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors and project design teams.
• General drawing office duties as assigned.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure delivery dates are met.
• Assist with producing floor and design calculations and schedules commensurate with the role and within capability using in house software
You will preferably be Chartered or be working towards achieving Chartered status and will have some experience in designing building structures, which must include use of AutoCAD.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £26 - 35,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
