Due to a high level of success in expanding their work portfolio, our client is looking to appoint a natural leader to undertake structural design and run, lead and develop a team of engineers, within their Bristol office.
You will become fully involved in the design these building structures projects and will be expected to take full project responsibility for design, fee management and client relationships.
Leading a design team of graduates and technicians in preparing design calculations, specifications, design HARA's for Building, Telecoms and Civils Structures projects both throughout the UK and overseas, you could be given the opportunity to travel internationally.
You should be degree qualified or equivalent, be Chartered or be close to achieving Chartered status and have experience in the design of building structures, office design, steel frame design and reinforced concrete design and in leading a team of Engineers working on large projects.
Experience of structural design in a wide range of building materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry and a working knowledge of suitable design software packages are also essential requirements.
You will be a decision maker who can lead and mentor a successful team and who has an interest and enthusiasm for design.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £35 - 45,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
