An experienced Chartered Structural Engineer is required for a prestigious Christchurch based engineering firm who have been in business for nearly 100 years. They specialise in the design and build of Aircraft Hangers, Grandstands and Stadiums, High-Bay Warehouses, Industrial Buildings, Steel Bridges, Multi-Storey Structures & Car Park, Environmentally Friendly Steel Frames Buildings and Earthquake & Hurricane Resistant Buildings. They also provide cladding, insulation, overhead cranes, gantries, roller shutter doors, electro- mechanical hangar doors, windows, ventilation and all the accessories needed for the complete structure.

- 5000m2 Warehouse for paper storage at Convoys Wharf, London River, for News International. They are seeking to make the key appointment of an experienced and career-minded Senior Structural Engineer to ultimately take over the Technical Director. You should be familiar with the latest British standards and able to design both manually and with computers. Ideally you will come from a Structural Steel or Engineering Consultancy background. Personality-wise you will be driven and business-minded with ambitions to become a Director in a managerial capacity.
You will be Chartered or near Chartered with demonstrable Structural Engineering experience. You should be fully proficient with engineering design packages and ideally you will be looking to take a step-up in your career into a position of real responsibility and reward.
