About the Role: In this highly-involved role you'll ensure the delivery of design solutions from conception through to realisation – taking the lead in bridge inspections, scheme design, feasibility studies, contract preparation and site supervision. You'll also be involved in planning site inspections, making reports and dealing with client queries, as well as undertaking assessment, preliminary and detailed design work and delivering innovative engineering design solutions. About You: You will have a degree that is accredited for Chartered Engineer status with the ICE. With significant technical and design experience, you'll bring a proven track record in conducting highway bridge inspections and assessments. You'll have prepared and managed contracts before, using various forms of Conditions of Contract and will be familiar with technical standards, in particular DMRB. In addition, you'll have a sound understanding of structural analysis programmes such as SCALE, SAM, LUSAS and SuperSTRESS.
