An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Power Services organisation. The company are engaged in repair, refurbishment, maintenance and new construction of the UK's electrical & gas distribution network. The company require a qualified professional to promote Healthy, Safety and Environmentally compliant systems and activities on the contracts within the company. This to be monitored by on site auditing and reporting.
Travel to destinations within the contract area will be required.
Also you will help and be part of the S.Q.E. Team in promoting safety across the company.
Further duties include:
Ensure compliance with safety and environment legislation
Promote and encourage safety by use of meetings and tool box talks
Induct / train new employees
Produce accurate reports for management team and client
To attend and contribute to Client and internal Management meetings.
To produce CDM Files for company activities when required.
To carry out other duties as required commensurate with the level of the post
Qualifications and Experience:
Background in Overhead Lines up to and including 33kv would be preferable.
NEBOSH General Cert, and or NEBOSH Construction Cert and willing to develop to or have Diploma level
Environmental Qualifications
People Skills / Training Skills
Streetworks Supervisor Qualification
Overhead Line Qualifications
Experience in the Construction and Electrical industry (Civils, Ovehead Lines and Cable laying and Jointing)
