You will complete assessments of the fire hazards (particularly to systems required for nuclear safety) and prepare safety submissions associated with fire safety.With hands-on knowledge and first-hand experience, you will also investigate, analyse and resolve operational problems associated with fire detection and suppression systems and produce strategies for lifetime management.
As someone who enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will havean adaptable and proactive approach as well as a “can-do” attitude, along with excellent communication skills.
As a minimum you will have a HNC (or equivalent) but a relevant degree will be an advantage.
