Our Client is currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor within their Property Sector team. The current workload includes projects within the commercial, residential and leisure sectors, for a variety of private sector and developer clients. Projects vary in size and value, typically in the range of £3m to £100m. Working as part of a well-established team, the jobholders responsibilities will include the full range of cost planning, control and management skills from feasibility stage, through to final accounts. The focus of our approach is to provide proactive cost and value advice, to help drive schemes forward, rather than simply providing reactive cost reporting.
Preferably MRICS qualified with 1 year's PQE, Strong client relationship skills and a Team player. The ideal candidates will have both excellent technical skills and also good interpersonal skills. Professional and diligent manner negotiating and influencing skills Knowledge of mixed use and residential developments and knowledge of two-stage tendering/procurement routes
