A leading worldwide Cost and Project Management Consultancy require a CAD measurement technician to join their particularly large and high value projects team.
This is not a design based role but rather much of the role will involve taking measurements off from drawings.
Job Duties:
• Developing a detailed understanding of commercial buildings floor plates, efficiency ratios, core arrangements etc.
• Clarifying queries on drawings to enable accurate area schedules to be produced
• Advising technical staff on area classifications.
• Preparing accurate area schedules using CAD Measure software (based on Auto CAD) and a Digitiser for cost planning purposes.
• Managing and updating existing area schedules using Excel.
Skills Required:
• Auto CAD or similar programme skills.
• Excel skills.
• High degree of IT literacy.
• Experience of both Hard and Electronic document management.
