Field Service Engineer position within a forward thinking company that manufactures, installs, services and repairs CNC equipment for a wide range of UK based clients. Requires strong electromechanical fault finding abilities, a flexible and confident approach to work and a real desire to be pursue a career within a field based role.

Salary & Location: £24,000 - £25,000 + car + generous holiday package + exceptional overtime benefits + contributory pension + private healthcare. Chippenham, Swindon, Oxford, Reading, Slough, Bournemouth, Southampton.
The Role: The majority of the role will involve installation, service and repair of precision CNC equipment. The machinery is generally reliable and failures often occur due to incorrect operation. Mechanical work involves replacing spindles, straightening lathes, un jamming moving parts and realigning machine centres. Electrical work usually involves replacing burnt out drives or swapping electronic modules. The majority of time will be spent operating on your own and the successful candidate will endeavour to provide the highest level of customer service in demanding environments.
The Candidate: " Production engineering background - either mechanical or electrical bias " An engineering qualification - preferably an apprenticeship " An appreciation of tooling and / or CNC machinery " A confident and flexible approach to work " Strong customer facing abilities
The Company: The company are an established world wide provider of CNC machinery. The UK arm of the business involves sales, distribution and service with manufacturing locations throughout Europe and the Far East. Due to an increase in machine sales, they have taken on extra contracts and the service department is due to undergo significant growth over the next 12 months.
