Facilities Planner/Programmer
Salary guideline range £28-32,000

We are a specialist recruitment agency and we are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Planner/Programmer for our Wiltshire based client.
This is one of a number of roles our client is currently looking for within a Facilities Engineering discipline.
The Facilitieis Planner/Programmer/Scheduler will be responsible for the co-ordination and planning of construction works.
Departmental Overview
Facilities are responsible for operating and maintaining site infrastructure and utilities, management of support services,
in-house construction management of building and engineering installations, building fabric maintenance and
wider commercial activities such as property/construction insurance matters, business rates and energy procurement.
Key Role & Responsibilities Role:
The Planner / Programmer will be responsible for the coordination and planning of construction works for the construction management team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage construction project plan utilising relevant planning software
Management of construction works and sequence of operations
Feedback to project team during meetings the current status of works to plan and report any variation and reasons
Input and management of contractor progress at project meetings
Person Specification:
ONC/HNC (or other relevant qualification) in mechanical / electrical / civil engineering would be
advantageous
Completion of engineering apprenticeship would be advantageous
Understanding and use of project management planning tools (MS Project)
Experience of managing contractors
Flexible approach to work responsibilities
Pro active approach to problem solving
Excellent team player
Ability to work unsupervised and be self motivated
Excellent verbal and written skills
