An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Highways Engineer in a company that provide network management and maintenance services to the Highway Industry.
As a Senior Highways Engineer, your role will consist of;
Delivering large and complex highway schemes and to provide advice to other schemes.
Preparing designs, reports and specifications.
Seeking innovation in the delivery of schemes and techniques used to design and construct them.
Arranging the briefs, programmes and budgets with the Highways Team Leader.
Providing professional and technical excellence in highways engineering.
Assisting in the management of resources.
Monitoring and approving designs.
Agreeing to briefs, programmes and budgets.
To be successful as a Senior Highways Engineer, you will have;
Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent qualification.
A detailed knowledge of design codes.
Delegation and team building skills.
Experience in the design and construction of highways schemes.
A good knowledge of Highway Agency procedures.
A good knowledge of computer design tools.
