An exciting role has arisen in Bristol for a Senior Highways Design Engineer to deliver large and complex highways schemes for the area 2 network. You will be assisting the team leader in managing a team of 20 engineers and technicians preparing designs, reports and specifications for a variety of maintenance and improvement schemes.
The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer with a thorough understanding of the condition of highways and the ability to identify areas for improvement. You will need to be a team player and have a detailed knowledge of design codes such as DMRB/MCDHW. The ideal candidate will be Chartered with a knowledge of HA Area maintenance and experience in the design and construction of highways schemes.
